Cockémont Cross

Iron cross restored by the Syndicat d'initiative de Francorchamps in 2018. It marks the location of the place called "Cokémont", also written "Cokaimont" or "Coquaimont"... The origins of this name are rather unclear, but if we refer to the possible etymology of another nearby place: "Cockaifagne", "Cocké" would be a deformation of the word "Clokè" which means "bell" in Walloon (source: www.sparealites.be/cokaifagne).
